Tour Itinerary
Day 1 – Ferry Dover to Dunkirk and ride to Adenau (280 Miles, 450 km , 4:30 hrs)
The first day is all about getting to Germany. Taking the ferry (can also arrange Eurotunnel) across the channel in the morning, you’ll then slab it to Eupen in Belgium on the Motorway, before heading into the Nature Parc High Venn – Eifel, where the ride really start to warm up. Crossing the border into Germany and on to Monschau, regarded as one of the most picturesque villages in Germany, before enjoying the roads for the rest of the way to Adenau.
Day 2 – Around Adenau (Optional rideouts)
The region around Adenau offers some great riding and it is a really good base to explore the area. You could visit Koln (Cologne) if you fancy tasting a bigger German city, or explore some of the smaller more rural regions.
Day 3 – Adenau to Mertesdorf (118 miles, 189 km, 3:15 hrs)
Today is a relaxed day of riding, with a some rural twisty roads in the morning, before joining the B53, meandering up the Moselle valley. This itinerary is based on a later start from Adenau for lunch in Cochem, before arriving in Mertesdorf in the early afternoon.
Day 4 – Around Adenau (Optional rideouts)
Take your time to explore Trier and some of the local wineries along the Moselle river, enjoying the great local roads along the way.
Day 5 – Mertsedorf to La Roche-en-Ardenne (96 miles, 155 km, 2:30 hrs
Before slabbing it back to the UK, we will spend a day exploring some of the back roads and villages of Luxembourg, before spending the night in the picturesque Belgian village of La Roche-en-Ardenne.
Day 6 – Return route Belgium to France / UK (180 miles, 287 km, 3:00 hrs)
This morning is a three-hour push on motorways back to Dunkirk (or Calais). We normally try to do the crossing just after midday to give give you time on the other side to get home. Depending on where you need to get to in the UK, you might like to leave later and take a bit more time to enjoy a few more stops along the way.
