Ride some of the best paved motorcycling roads in the world as you enjoy the best of Germany’s Black Forest, the land of the Brothers Grimm fairy tales, cuckoo clocks and endless twisties. Riding the Black Forest should be on any riders list and this ride joins the Black Forest with a taste of Austria’s spectacular Tyrol region, in a week long loop that is sure to leave you wanting more.
After picking up your bike, you will slab it for a couple of hours on the A8, before heading cross country into the Black Forest and the start of the great riding.
After a big first day, today is very relaxed, with some great riding and options to add loops to the suggested route. You could take the morning to see Baden, have a later start – and then really enjoy the fabulous B500.
Day three is time to relax a little and enjoy some of the sights around Wolfach or jump on the bike again and head out on some loops around the region.
Today is another relaxed days riding, continuing on the B500 and then leaving the Black Forest to spend the evening in the medieval town of Rottweil. If you would like to do more riding, you could even continue on to the end of the B500, just before the Swiss border and make your way back up to Rottweil from there.
Day five is a bigger day, heading north in the morning for a stop at the Castle Schloss Hohenzollern (19th century castle), before making your way cross-country to Lindau on Lake Constance and then into the Tyrollean Alps.
In the morning you have the chance to go and check out the famous fairytale Neuschwanstein Castle, just out of Fussen, before ducking back into Austria and enjoying some of the best roads the region has to offer.
Your last day is a relaxing ride back into Germany and on to Munich, with plenty of opportunities for a little extra fun, before you return the bike in the afternoon.
